Essential Qualification: A candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or any examination declared equivalent by the Govt. Moreover, the candidate must possess knowledge of computer as specified below:-
Experience: Candidate must have a good working knowledge of office productivity software tools (independent) of any operating system i.e. MS Windows Linux Mac etc for Animal Husbandry And Veterinary Recruitment 2021. such as,

- Concept of Database
- Internet
Computer Certificate: Candidate must possess a minimum 6 (Six) months Diploma in Computer application/ Knowledge from an Institute recognized by the Govt for Animal Husbandry And Veterinary Recruitment 2021.
Junior Assistant (Sub-Ordinate): As mentioned below –

Selection Process For (Grade III) Posts:
The OMR-based written examination will be held for all categories of posts at specified locations to be decided in due course of time.
There will be two phases of Tests (i) First Phase Test (OMR based Written Test) and (ii)
Second Phase Test (Computer Proficiency Test) for the post of Junior Assistant (HQ & Sub-Ordinate) for Animal Husbandry And Veterinary Recruitment 2021.
There will be only First Phase Test (Written Test) for the post of Electricians to be held
along with Junior Assistant (HQ) & Junior Assistant (Sub-ordinate).
First Phase Test: candidates whose applications are found to be correct in all respects will be called for OMR based Written Test which will be conducted in the District/ Regional Headquarter(s). The duration of the Written Test will be of 2 1⁄2 hours on the subjects as given below. The test will be 100 marks with 100 questions and will be completely OMR-based. Each question will carry a 1 (one) mark. There will be a negative marking of 1⁄2 (half) mark for each wrong answer.
Subjects For Junior Assistant (HQ & Sub-Ordinate)
- General awareness/ General knowledge and Current affairs: 20 Marks
- History of India and Assam: 20 Marks
- General Mathematics: 20 Marks
- English Language Proficiency: 20 Marks
- Logical Reasoning and Aptitude test: 20 Marks
Total: 100 Marks
Subjects For Electrician/ Plant Operator
- General English: 10 Marks
- General Knowledge and Intelligence with Special emphasis on Assam: 30 Marks
- Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude test: 30 Marks
- Technical Matter: 30 Marks
Total: 100 Marks
Second Phase Test: The SECOND PHASE TEST will be a computer-based examination to test the knowledge of computers relevant to posts applied for. The proficiency of computer operations will be tested in the office productivity software tools (independent) of any operating system i.e. MS Windows Linux Mac etc. such as Word processor, Spreadsheet, Presentation Graphics, Concept of Database, Internet, E-mail.

Pay Scale: Rs. 12,000/- to Rs. 52,000/- Plus Grade pay 3,900/- in Pay Band 1
Educational Qualification: A candidate should be Class VIII passed from any recognized Educational Institutes and the candidate must produce the Certificate of VIII pass from the School Authority they had attended with due Seal and Signature of the authority.
Selection Process For (Grade-IV) Posts:
- The first Merit List will be prepared on the marks scored on OMR based written examination (Reasoning, Numerical Ability, History with special reference to Assam, Geography, English, General Knowledge: 100 marks of 2 hours duration.
- There will be ONE merit list for the post category wise i.e. unreserved, OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H) & EWS separately for males and females as per vacancies for different posts for the entire State.
- The select list shall be published in two widely circulated newspapers and the website of the Directorate.
- There will be a 1⁄4 (one-fourth) negative marks for each wrong answer for Animal Husbandry And Veterinary Recruitment 2021.
Other Eligibility Criteria For Animal Husbandry And Veterinary Recruitment 2021:
The below-mentioned details are the same for both Grade III & Grade IV posts.
Age Limit: Candidate should not be more than 40 years and less than 18 years of age as on 1st January, 2020 for Animal Husbandry And Veterinary Recruitment 2021.
The upper age limit is relaxable as under:
- 03(three) years in case of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.
- 05 (five) years in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) & ST (H).
Employment Exchange Certificate: Candidates must produce a Registration Certificate of Employment Exchange (having validity) in the State of Assam along with the application form for Animal Husbandry And Veterinary Recruitment 2021.
Citizenship: Candidates must be citizens of India within the meaning of Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be permanent residents of Assam.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must have knowledge of the local language of Assam for Animal Husbandry And Veterinary Recruitment 2021. [For Grade IV posts]
