Number Of Vacancies: UR (312), SC (21), ST-P (16), ST-H (02), OBC/MOBC (90), Total: 441
Educational Qualification: 10+2 (Science) passed with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council. The candidates must have obtained pass marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) of 10+2 (Science) examination to apply for the post.
Age Limit: Min 18 & Max 25 Years (as on 01/01/2022)
Pay Scale: Rs.14,000/- to Rs.60,500/- (Pay Band-II), with Grade pay of Rs.6,200/- and other admissible allowances.
➤ Constable (UB)
Number Of Vacancies: UR (01), OBC/MOBC (01), Total: 02
Educational Qualification: HSSLC or Class 12th Passed from a recognized Board or Council.
Age Limit: Min 18 & Max 25 Years (as on 01/01/2022)
Pay Scale: Rs.14,000/- to Rs.60,500/- (Pay Band-II), with Grade pay of Rs.5,600/- and other admissible allowances.
➤ Constable (Messenger)

Educational Qualification: HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess a valid driving license for LMV, MMV & HMV, etc.

Other Eligibility Criteria For APRO Recruitment 2022
Employment Exchange Registration Certificate: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently
Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens, permanent residents of Assam. Selected candidates will have to submit proof of residence/ Domicile Certificate after the publication of the final select list. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/MOBC are exempted from submitting such certificates.
Age Limit: Candidates’ age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years as on 1st January 2022 (i.e., Candidate must be born on or before 01/01/2004 and on or after 01/01/1997).
Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below –
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- Trained Home guard: 3 years
