Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released an official notification (RRB NTPC Fee Refund 2021) regarding the refund of the examination fee for the candidates who had appeared on the first stage Computer Based Test (CBT-1) for the posts of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC).

All of the candidates who had appeared in the first stage Computer Based Test (CBT-1) which was held from 28th December 2020 to 31st July 2021 in 7 (seven) Phases are entitled to get a refund of their examination fee.

Name Of The Board: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB)

Name Of The Posts: Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC)

Total Number Of Posts: 35,277 Posts

Qualification-wise Posts: UG Level 10,628 & Graduate Level 24,649

Examination Date: 28th December 2020 to 31st July 2021

Examination Type: Computer Based Test (CBT-1)

Application Fee: Rs.250/- For SC/ ST/ PwD/ Ex-S/ Women/ Transgender/ EBC/ Minorities & Rs.500/- For Others

Refund Amount: Rs.250/- For SC/ ST/ PwD/ Ex-S/ Women/ Transgender/ EBC/ Minorities & Rs.400/- For Others After Deduction Of Banking/ Service Charges As Applicable.

Who Will Get The Refund: Only For CBT Attended Candidates

Bank Account Linking Date: 11th August 2021 to 31st August 2021

Account Updating Link: Shared To Registered Email & Phone No. Of The Candidates

NOTE: All candidates who had appeared on the CBT-1 are advised to provide their Bank Account details for getting the refund of exam fees. They are requested to ensure that the Bank Account Number, Name & IFSC Code entered are correct and check it carefully before submitting. It may be noted that modification of bank details after submission will not be possible for RRB NTPC Fee Refund 2021.

How To Update Bank Details For RRB NTPC Fee Refund 2021:

Follow the below steps to update your details –

  • Visit the “Update Bank Details” link, given below
  • An official RRB web page will open
  • Now enter your Roll No, DOB, OTP & Fill the captcha code and hit the Login button
  • After that fill in your bank details as per the instructions given therein
  • You will get your refund once your details are verified

Note: If you haven’t received OTP from RRB then you have to choose the “Not Received OTP” option available on the web page where you have to enter your “Matric Roll No and Father’s Name” instead of OTP.
