SBI Circle Based Officer Jobs 2021 Details

Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

Experience: Minimum 2 years experience (Post Essential Academic Qualification Experience) as on 01.12.2021 as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank as listed in Second Schedule of Reserve Bank of India.

Age Limit: Not below 21 years and Not above 30 years as on 01.12.2021 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 01.12.2000 and not earlier than 02.12.1991 (both days inclusive).

Relaxation in Upper age limit –

• SC/ST: 5 Years
• OBC-NCL: 3 Years
• PwD (All): 15 Years
• Ex-Servicemen & Others: 5 Years

Emoluments: Presently, the starting basic pay is Rs.36,000/- on the scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2- 49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I plus one increment for each completed year of service rendered in officer cadre in Scheduled Commercial Bank/ Regional Rural Bank as on 01.12.2021.

However, the maximum advance increment has been capped at 2 (two), irrespective of the duration of experience gained in previous employment. The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical, and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.

Selection Process For SBI Circle Based Officer Jobs 2021

The selection process consists of Online Written Test, Screening and Interview –

Online Written Test: Online written tests will consist of Objective Tests for 120 marks and Descriptive Tests for 50 marks. The Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after the conclusion of the Objective Test and candidates will have to type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer.

Objective Test: The duration of the objective test is 2 hours and it consists of 4 Sections of a total of 120 marks. There will be separate timing for every section.

• English Language: 30 Questions, 30 Marks & Duration 30 Minutes
• Banking Knowledge: 40 Questions, 40 Marks & Duration 40 Minutes
• General Awareness/ Economy: 30 Questions, 30 Marks & Duration 30 Minutes
• Computer Aptitude: 20 Questions, 20 Marks & Duration 20 Minutes

Total: 120 Questions, 120 Marks & Duration 02 Hours

Descriptive Test: The duration of the Descriptive Test is 30 minutes. It will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) with two questions for a total of 50 marks.

Screening: Online applications and documents of candidates, who are shortlisted based on performance in online examination, will be placed before the Screening Committee.

Interview: The interview will consist of 50 marks. Candidates will have to score minimum qualifying marks in an interview to be considered for final selection. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank.

Final Selection: The candidates will have to qualify both in Online Written Test and Interview separately. The marks obtained in the Online Written Test, both in the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in the Interview for preparing the final merit list. The final merit list would be prepared based on normalization of marks scored in the Online Written Test and Interview with 75:25 weightage respectively.
