➤ Professor (Control System)
Number Of Vacancies: UR (01), Total: 01
Department: Integrated Headquarters, Directorate of Civilian Personnel, Ministry of Defence.
Educational Qualification: As mentioned below –
(i) A Ph.D. in Control System Engineering/Embedded System Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/ Controls & Instrumentation Engineering/ Electrical Engineering with a First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and ten years of teaching, research, and/or industry experience, with at least five years at the level of Assistant Professor/ Reader or equivalent grade; OR
(ii) In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential.
- First Class Master’s degree in Control System Engineering/ Embedded System Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/ Controls & Instrumentation Engineering/ Electrical Engineering.
- Significant professional work equivalent to a Ph.D. in Control System Engineering/ Embedded System Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/ Controls & Instrumentation Engineering/ Electrical Engineering and ten years of industrial/ professional experience, with at least five years at the senior level of Assistant Professor/ Reader.
Experience: Ten years in teaching, research, and/or industry, out of which at least five years at the level of Assistant Professor/Reader or equivalent grade for UPSC Recruitment 2021.
Age Limit: 50 years.
Pay Scale: Academic Level- 14 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
➤ Associate Professor (Computer Science)

Educational Qualification: As mentioned below –
(i) A Ph.D. in Computer Science with a First Class Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and eight years of experience as a Lecturer or comparable grade in teaching, research, and/or industry, omitting the time spent pursuing the research degree; OR
(ii) In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential;
- First-class Master’s Degree in Computer Science for UPSC Recruitment 2021.
- Significant professional work that can be acknowledged as comparable to a Ph.D. in Computer Science, as well as eight years of industrial/professional experience at a position equivalent to Lecturer.

Educational Qualification: As mentioned below –
(A) (i) Masters’ degree in Nursing from a recognized University or Institute; OR
(ii) B.Sc. Nursing or Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing with one year experience in a Nursing College recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
(B) Registered as Nurse and Mid-Wife with Central or State Nursing Council for UPSC Recruitment 2021.
Age Limit: 35 years.
Pay Scale: Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
Application Fees For UPSC Recruitment 2021
Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs.25/- (Rupees Twenty-five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using the net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
No fee for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Women candidates of any community for UPSC Recruitment 2021. No “fee exemption” is available to Gen/ OBC/ EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
